Rehearsing the Future – Culture as Strategy Inside the Machine

Rehearsing the Future – Culture as Strategy Inside the Machine

Description

What if corporate transformation wasn’t about alignment, but aliveness? At PwC, culture is both invisible and omnipresent. Global teams were drowning in strategy decks, disconnected from their own agency. This project reimagined organisational change not as behavioural nudging or brand refresh, but as a choreographic act — staging new rhythms of dialogue, trust and collective momentum inside a tightly managed institution. Approach • Led the design and facilitation of 100+ immersive workshops across the UK and Asia-Pacific, guiding staff through strategic change using story, movement and provocation • Built internal campaign platforms that blurred the line between change management and cultural practice • Collaborated with comms, HR and leadership to co-create tools that surfaced resistance, reframed direction, and anchored future ways of working • Developed metaphors, formats and visuals that cut through jargon and made systems visible to those navigating them daily Impact • Reshaped internal narratives of transformation across multiple business units • Fostered emotional literacy and relational clarity in highly technical environments • Awarded for internal innovation and used as a model across other regional hubs • Built capacity within the organisation to host its own transitions — not just manage them
